Pinecrest traveled to Northwest Guilford for the first round of the 2025 NCHSAA Men's Soccer playoffs. With tenacious defense and excellent goaltending Pinecrest kept the match close for forty minutes, trailing 1-nil at the half. Despite several promising offensive opportunities for Pinecrest in the second stanza, Northwest Guilford was able to break through with two additional goals to seal the victory. Congratulations to Pinecrest and thank you to the seniors I've had the privilege to cover for the last four years - good luck in whatever you do next!
